This is how the 4 Axis USB 1500W CNC 6040 arrived in boxes.

The spindle 1.5kW already mounted to the portal bridge:

The base with the aluminium profiles for the machine bed:

And the control Unit, the 4th axis assembly and in the small box you find a USB and the 4th axis cable and a water pump for the spindle cooling. And the srews, some millbits and a tool:

The thing is quite heavy and compared to most DIY CNC it is not made out of aluminum, it is mostly steel. This is how this thing looks when it is assembled:

I have started this blog as I have bought a cheap CNC from China and did not really found good information on the Internet that are suited for CNC beginners like myself. I will document my progress and post useful information about the machine itself, add-ons and the usage. So keep looking in here!
